of making their productions green include recycling and proper
waste disposal, utilizing environmentally conscious hotels and
other lodging, purchasing products and equipment for the shoot with

foods on reusable dishware at meals and setting up carpools and
encouraging the use of public transportation for all those

Part Two
Part Two of the Florida Green Production Plan is to show “green”
practices in your script. Production companies are encouraged to
write environmentally conscious actions and ideas into their
character's roles. When the characters exhibit certain behaviors,
they help promote their viewers to take part in these same actions.
Companies have begun to write characters that recycle, ride bikes
or drive hybrid cars, buy organic and other environmentally safe
products, turn off all electronics when not in use and even donate
old or unwanted clothing instead of throwing them away. These
characters help spread a message about environmentally safe
practices that can have an impact on everyone. Orlando production companies have taken on the
challenge of the Florida Green Production Plan and are on their way
to creating less impact on the environment.
